Incomplete black and white sketch diagram of New Jersey's passenger rail system from the 1980 NJ Transit "Graphic Standards Manual". Only major stations are named and all the route lines are black.
Modern computer-designed reworking of the black and white "Graphic Standards Manual Map". All stations are labelled and the route lines are now color-coded using NJ Transits corporate colors of orange, magenta and blue.
The 1980 NJ Transit "Graphics Standards Manual" contains a rough sketch of a passenger rail network diagram. Me being me, I decided to see what it would have looked like if it was fully designed. Turns out that it's actually pretty darn good.
