I love working from home. One perk is I get to go outside and stick my feet in the pool and drink some water and take a little break from the screens.

We’ve had a string of bad (and expensive) luck. Maybe the stress got me vulnerable. Either way, this has been terrible and I don’t wish it on anyone.

I can’t wait to eat real food. I haven’t eaten much since Tuesday around 5pm, just a couple cups of apple sauce and yogurt. How the heck did I get strep throat? 😩

I’m just saying. I wore flare jeans today too.

Packing is enlightening. I have a lot to donate and get rid of and lot to hang onto. Moral of the story: I have a LOT.

I finished the first room reno/update of the house this week! It was easiest one and a lot of work so I know I’m in for a long road but I’m so excited to get this house done! 🏡

Over $200 for a set of MDF board nightstands feels crazy. I looked on FB marketplace and real wood sets (that are outdated styles that don’t fit my space) are $300+ 🙃

Got my old Wii up and running so my son can play a game he bought this weekend. I’m cleaning and making green chile chicken enchiladas. It’s chilly outside. Today is perfect.

Getting the tree put up and I’m going to have to unwrap the lights and redo them. Going to watch some silly movies while I do it later. Also, beef short ribs for dinner tonight.
