I have confirmation from a friend who works in Met Éireann that they have no official Bluesky account yet.

Met Éireann are away of this and have contacted Bluesky.

The Met Eireann account on Blue-sky is not an official account, and has posted something racist. Perhaps you should consider unfollowimg them

As everyone should know by now, the anti-trans rhetoric isn’t about “protecting women” in bathrooms or sports … but about removing trans people from public life. And it’s working. This is a big company, making a big change that isn’t about protecting anyone (except men from having to see tampons).

Most importantly he tweeted a screenshot of one of my jokes with my name cropped out.

Dublin City Council acted 'beyond its powers' with traffic changes on quays, traders say | BreakingNews.ie By way of judicial review, the traders are seeking to challenge traffic changes and restrictions on the use of private vehicles at O'Connell Bridge.

A bunch of car park owners have been granted a High Court review to try and get rid of the Dublin City Transport Plan.

So far the plan has delivered faster buses and reduced traffic - while footfall keeps growing.

Interesting stuff regardless!

I suppose no one person wrought the destruction on Dublin that Moses did on parts of New York, but the utter fixation on cars as the primary mode of transport and allowing that to shape a city struck me today catching up on the podcast.
