A diagram of concentric circles enumerates the factors that encompass the experiences of targets of domestic abuse (A.K.A. "Coercive Control"), starting with the inner circle of abuser tactics, then Abuser Traits, Victim Barriers, Social Ties, Family Dynamics, Culture, Systemic Oppression and Institutions. Each of these layers represent barriers to adult and child targets finding safety from domestic violence predators, and speak to how the community is complicit in promoting coercive control and family violence.
