Absolutely thrilled to be a Guest of Honour at the brilliant Edge-Lit conference on 20th September! It's always a great day out, so come and join us, ask questions, get books signed, and throw stuff!

Short stories are great, like novels but without all the padding and descriptions of people's noses. Often a single idea, mood, or incident, delivered as a sharp hit. These particular collections of stories, wot I wrote, are very 'dippable'; read one story every now and then, in any order you like.

Writers: before you sign a contract with a publisher, make sure AI isn't replacing your illustrator, your translator, your editor, your jacket designer. Readers: if you're thinking of buying a book, do the same. Refuse. Resist. If AI garbage doesn't sell, people will stop making it.
