This week in P.E we have been learning about ball skills with basketball. We learned how to hold the ball correctly to shoot and how to move with the ball safely 🏀

Our IDL topic is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory this term. We read that Mr Wonka made an ice cream that never melts. Today we did an experiment to see what would make ice melt faster. We made a prediction and timed how long it took to melt. We discovered that sugar made the ice melt the fastest!🧊

We have been learning about different types of questions. We are focusing on Remembering questions. We read a story called Astronaut Ant and had to answer some remembering questions about the story. I was so impressed with how much we remembered 📖🧠

We are focusing on a life skill every month in Primary 4. This month we are focusing on Active Listening. We played a game where one partner described the picture and the other partner had to listen and draw it. It was great fun! Ask us what the rules are to be an active listener!👂
