Reflecting for infinity.

Someone told me today that I look tired. I was tired (and not wearing makeup).

But I am a good tired. There was a time I was tired from just surviving.

Today I am tired from working on what is meaningful to me. I feel like I tapped into something magical. Something otherworldly.

The rain beat up the peonies. The same source that nourishes, applied too harshly, can harm.

I walked along this path barefoot today. It was incredibly energizing.

Feeling the earth beneath your feet, how the temperature changes as you walk from sunny parts to more wooded shaded parts, is a beautiful feeling.

Humans are programmed to fall in love. Who do we fall in love with? People in our environment. The screen tricks our mind into thinking the celebrity is in front of us. Our prehistoric mind distinguishes poorly between a face at our table and one on a screen.

If you observe yourself you will notice that you are different with everybody. With some people you will be more reserved, with some more open, with some you will joke, in some you will confide in, in others you won’t. We all elicit a different version of each person.

If you feel like garbage about yourself, you will notice that many people are completely willing to treat you like garbage. Usually it is unconscious. It takes a strong and conscious person to not give into it.

Something many people don’t realize is the extent to which their soul affects their projected physiognomy. Have you ever seen a person heal and all of a sudden become more physically attractive?

Sometimes I take a mindful snapshot of my current mental state. Then I think about it and analyze it.

A sign that your soul is decaying is the presence of resentment. Not fleeting and in regard to small matters (although it may start this way), but an ever present and dominating sentiment of bitter resentfulness towards everything and everyone.

I scanned to see if pickle juice will be mentioned, and there it was. It really is the answer. My people are right.

There are days I need those boring cliche regurgitated motivational quotes. Just not the one about what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. That one I am done with.

The longer you are stuck where you don't want to be the harder it gets to turn things around. Imagine a hurricane spinning in one direction. To change your life you need the energy to start turning the storm the other way. But the longer you are where you hate the more drained you become.
