The Practical Agency of the Shฤซสฟฤซ Imams By Edmund Hayes In my first essay, I raised the question: was there an early Imฤmฤซ Shฤซสฟฤซ legal system? In order to think about this question, it is convenient to think of the Imฤmฤซ community as havโ€ฆ

Western leaders call for diplomacy, but they wonโ€™t stop this war โ€“ they refuse to even name its cause | Nesrine Malik The political centre sees the US and Israelโ€™s war on Iran as a crisis to be managed, while the gap between their detached politics and bloody rhetoric widens, says Guardian columnist Nesrine Malik

"Trump is Trump... But the problem predates him: a political establishment of ostensibly liberal, reliable custodians of stability that has no moral compass, and no care for the norms it constantly claims to uphold."

Big Oil Is Fueling a Rise in Cancer in Iraqโ€™s Basra A New Lines investigation reveals the human cost of the petroleum industry, as officials and companies seek to hide an alarming surge in medical cases

NEW: In Iraqโ€™s Basra, age is a luxury. Residents live under a constant cloud of pollution from oil flares, causing a surge in cancer cases, while the government colludes with oil companies to dismiss the crisis, reports Margaux Seigneur for @newlinesmag.bsky.social.

It uses Bing and can be a little hit and miss, but usually you'll get there eventually. If not, you can 'search' for another search engine and still generate revenues for trees. It's also very good on privacy/security, doesn't steal/sell your data! Overall, the advantages outweigh the downsides.

It's one of a handful of Islamicate manuscripts that I think qualifies as "well-known," albeit perhaps within fairly limited circles, still Wellcome MS Persian 474 always repays a look, just an incredible monument of book artistry:
