I also frequented the Warped Tour as a teen and would spend ~$30 for a ticket, and maybe $100 on merch each summer

Not bigger names, but in summer 2012 I saw over 100 bands across multiple Midwest states and spent MAYBE $500 including gas, food, and the occasional hotel.

In 2014 & 2015 I saw a big name band and spent $400 total for both incl. hotel, food, & gas.

Today? Forget about it.

Astronaut Jim Lovell, famed Apollo 13 commander, dies at 97 Lovell was also the first astronaut to go to space four times and part of the Apollo 8 crew, the first to launch on the Saturn V rocket and first to orbit the moon.

He didn't get to the moon but he got his crew home, and that was the more remarkable task.
