Why are are they so dense when it comes to determining what people will want to see? Horizon fans want to see Aloy in the world with machines. That’s where you start. Why would they think “Oh they’ll be more excited about the Sobek story.”? Just ask fans. Not that hard.

1)Most of the safety protocols current plants have go beyond gov requirements. Meltdown results in the plant and the land around it becoming useless and dangerous. So even greedy corps don’t want that. Huge $$$ loss. Biggest concern for deregulation would be workers radiation level regulations eased

A lot of what is in the public discussion about nuclear power lingers from horror stories about the early days of nuclear tech. Fortunately, they learned from those mistakes and the designs are a lot safer. That said let’s hope Trump’s DOGE BS doesn’t extend to cutting regulation.

It was also an older design from 1967 that should have been shut down a long time ago. In the United States nuclear plants, while owned by corps (some partially state) are subject to intense regulation and their safety protocols seem like they were designed by a team of severely OCD neurotics. 🤓
