Just received a finished copy of Louise Hegarty’s incredible debut novel FAIR PLAY and look at those stunning end papers! We loved, loved, loved this book - a playful satire on detective novels and locked room mysteries that becomes so much more and had us both laughing and crying.

I began listening to this collection of Hilary Mantel’s writing on audio because I’d run out of podcasts to listen to whilst cooking etc and honestly it is wonderful. She has opinions on everything from films, princesses, politics and of course, writing. All of it masterfully written.
