*hugs* me too haha. The first one is like getting hit by a bus. The first 10 sting. I'm over 100 in (coupla different books) and at some point the sting becomes "haha you think I'm leaving? Joke's on you I'm gonna send out another 50".

It's definitely a slog, you pitch a bunch and get lots of no's, and you just grit your teeth and keep going haha. If you decide to try it know you're not alone!

Yeah they are! Querytracker charges you, i think, if you want to organize your queries through their system, but to search for agents or to pitch is free. MSWL is just a website, manuscript wishlist, where agents and editors write what they want so you can try and find a match for you =)

I'm mucking about looking at agents rn and just to add - more people than before seem to want to rep comics, and way more people than before handle their submissions through querytracker instead of emails. If you decide to go for it, a search through querytracker and MSWL may be a way to start.

Ah nice! yes big recommend, especially for writers. The movie is a fun romp for kids (despite the swamp haha). The book is a children's horror AND It reads like "oh, you're a bookish kid? Cute. I've brought you all your trauma, buckle the f*ck up. Yes, you, person holding book. I can see you."
