22.02.2026 04:34 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0My wife lived in Uzbekistan for 2 years with the peace core and learned about Plav there. She said she’s seen it made like this, but only in a 5 foot wide pan.

22.02.2026 04:14 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I’d suggest one of the issues here is that AI implementation has not been an organic, bottom-up process. Since 2022, its boosters have been tech titans and media folks who got waaaaay ahead of the demand for this technology and began imposing the features and infrastructure on an unconvinced public.

More likely is that people with undiagnosed mental illness are more likely to self medicate with drugs and alcohol, including marijuana.
Booooooooo

21.02.2026 14:12 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0The top graph implies that the average OECD country saw road deaths rise during the last decade. Nope.
At the bottom, the OECD removed US data to show that other countries actually made progress.
As an American, this is embarrassing.
What I hear any time I get a fundraising card from my graduate institution:
21.02.2026 03:06 — 👍 10 🔁 1 💬 2 📌 0At least corporations will be able to get the money back from the government. Normal Americans won’t see jack squat. Maybe if you ordered something and got charged the tariff directly and have the patience to fill out the paperwork you might get something.
20.02.2026 23:23 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Bad tariff incidence takes (from smart people!) on here today
It absolutely is not conclusive that corporations mostly ate them rather than passing them on (and i've seen some evidence the other way)
but it is some sort of mix. We all got fucked by the administration
I ordered one, and will make sure my librarian wife and 2 kids check it out too.

"Your book has been submitted for review." Jo: "Yes! We've done all we can. Time for a little rest." Rabbit: "And listening to smutty audiobooks?" Jo: "And listening to smutty audiobooks!" 2. (Soon..) Jo, sitting up in bed, hair all frazzled, her face is in a slight scowl, barely awake as she stares at her phone. Jo: "?" Her phone: "Congratulations! Your paperback book has been published!" 3. Jo, both hands on her face, screaming: "ALREADY?!" Rabbit: "What do we do what do we do?!" Jo: "PANIC!" 4. (Rainbow of Crazy Comics Volume One is out NOW in paperback!) Jo smiles (a little awkwardly as she is awkward) as she holds a copy of the book. The rabbit raises his paws up in the air in adorable glee. Links: ko-fi.com/rainbowofcrazy, and Rainbowofcrazy.com

Navigation apps could save their users a lot of time — and tilt travel decisions toward transit and biking — if they showed users how long it takes to find parking.
That really sucks
