I've read some good examples of simple prose and how they can totally work, but like you said, sometimes dynamic descriptions can also be really nice 😅 I like doing those when I'm able to come up with the *perfect* way to word something, otherwise I go back to simpler ways and subtleties.

I mean... I try not to, but sometimes it's just really really hard! 😩 I write a simpler prose, because my brain hates to remember good words exist when they're needed! So when I read really nice descriptions in books I sit there & think "ugh, brain, why can't you do something like that more often??"

The amount of times I ask (book or movie) "how did this get greenlit?!" is too many to count...
