As a non-Christian, I see my pagan community practicing Christ-like ideals while the self-identified followers of Jesus condemn those who do what he taught. This IS the most astonishingly backward fuckery; how can you not be angry?

Every human deserves a home, food, healthcare, love, safety. I hold these truths to be self evident, for what are life and liberty without them? How can one pursue happiness without this basic stability? The love of money is the root of all evil. These, my core beliefs, have been deemed terroristic.

The vaccine messed up my cycle, too. My periods were only 3 light days, for a couple of years, and after the first shot, they went back to 5-7 days and heavier. Now I have chaotic perimenopause periods: 8 btw NYE and end of May, none in June, July or Aug, two in Sep. BEING A WOMAN IS UNCOMFORTABLE

I'm trying various methods to manage hot flashes during sleep. A question for people who regularly take cold/cool showers: WTF? This does not "feel good." I worked a book signing and spent about 8 hours beside David Sedaris, and he was one of the funniest, kindest, most genuine people I've ever met. He spent so much time making every person there feel individually seen, the energy was incredible.

12 days since I had Izzie put to sleep, and I know it was her time, but I miss the way she curled her paw over her nose. I miss how I'd go into any room, and a few minutes later, she would quietly be there too, as close as she could be. Twenty years was a lot for a cat, but not enough for me.
