Thank you so much! I've just looked into it and I'm intrigued! I love an emotional time travel story with a strong nonbinary lead.
I really appreciate the recommendation! ๐

I love this idea. I hope you don't mind if I partake!
I've really enjoyed:
Nettle and Bone by T. Kingfisher,
Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon,
The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett,
Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V.E. Schwab,
and Paprika by Yasutaka Tsutsui.
Thank you!
A black cat smiles ftom atop a well-loved (hair covered) cat tower, snuggling with a large toy rat.
A black and white fluffy cat perches on a cardboard sofa.
A black cat lounges on layers of green and tan felt play surfaces, which might be shaped like leaves, or maybe sponges or swiss cheese. In any case, he looks to be having fun.
I love these little gremlins so much.

One unanticipated risk of having multiple crochet WIPs going at once? Accidental symbiotic fusions.
30.09.2025 17:30 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Seeing all of your wonderful renditions of the cast makes me very nostalgic for this game. So much so that I picked up the remaster (which is very much on sale, coincidentally).
I have to agree with the others who have said this - all of these characters are perfect in your art style.
Great work, as always - you convey so much with still images.
It also makes me want to re-read T. Kingfisher's 'What Moves the Dead'. ๐
An open parasol in white, pink and blue concentric stripes sits on the floor facing the camera. It features a repeating pineapple style pattern of teardrop shapes. There is a mistake in the final five rounds which the crocheter thinks they have hidden well enough - who knows?

An open parasol faces the camera - it is coloured white, pink and blue to represent the transgender flag, and has black trim. It is being held by a person in an orange dress who is clearly hiding from the camera.
I finished my pineapple parasol just in time for the local pride parade! ๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ๐ณ๏ธโ๐
It involved a good deal of time and effort (and undoing my mistakes after stowing it away in a closet last year).
Pattern by IraRott - the pattern is great, any mistakes were user error or full inattention on my part. ๐งถ
So nostalgic! I can still remember how it tasted from my childhood vacations.
Just don't get it mixed up with the currant wine!
There are a lot of contenders, but this little guy might be my favourite of your creations thus far. ๐งก

It's always a bonus to catch two or more cats in one photo. ๐โโฌ๐โโฌ

Embroidery on linen in a grey wood-look frame - it consists of a sunflower, various other nondescript blooms, a monarch butterfly and a pudgy bee.

Supervisor cats doing their job while a person works on embroidery - the black and white cat in the front has her paws on the embroidery hoop, while the black cat in the background looks on. A secret third cat is taking a nap on the bench in the the background!
Earlier this week, upon remembering that Mothers' Day was approaching, I decided to spend $100 at Michaels and work against time to make some floral embroidery for my Mom.
I think it worked out okay! Except maybe from a botany standpoint - I did a lot of improvising with the flowers.๐ป
Three cats sit on a bench by a window, all looking outside, facing away from the camera. There are crocheted blankets on the bench and plants in the window. The cats are looking at a large and noisy vehicle outside as it prepares to move a dumpster.
A very rare moment - never before witnessed, in fact! All three cats coexisting on the same bench.
... They were warily watching their mortal foe, the garbage truck.
Very good point!

I've been bitten by the embroidery bug - more likely contracted the obsession from accidentally poking myself.
Given so many awful world events, it felt appropriate to try a pride flag - it won't really *do* anything, but it keeps my mind occupied.
Just a WIP for now.

Oblivion seems like another campy fun time, and I haven't been able to play it on Steam Deck, so I'm excited. I'm sure we could all use a little escape lately.
