My problem is I still rather enjoy the gameplay (and hyperbuff charr/asura c.c). But not always the biggest fan of the story, most of the community, many maps and their metas, etc.

given that much of the time so far has been spent troubleshooting the problem i was having, not far. I was stuck at Rata Sum's step for like 4 hours.

Managed to get past Random Weird Technical Problem and actually play the game. Pretty good so far. Feel like the expacs lately all start super strong and this one's no exception at least.

alright well the very first mission before im even allowed to play expac content consistently crashes to desktop right at the start of the obligatory stealth section. lookin great so far.

no repair efforts have worked, guess i'll wait for a build update

I've also plenty of cool things to be excited for, I'm just moping about a 13 year old MMO that didn't develop how I would have liked in that time. :V

I'm still going to play it probably but I'm going to be more critical of it than I've ever been. I would really really love to be wrong, but my hype is very very low.

none of the new elite specs seem very exciting to me. a few of them I wish to be deleted so they can just try again. And the last two expacs felt so horrendously rushed towards the middle/end that I have no faith that this one won't go the same way...

And yet I've still bought it.

man the new gw2 expac comes out tomorrow and it's the least excited I've ever been.
