As Canada’s natural resources sector navigates the urgent need for sustainable development and reconciliation, the principle of Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC) is emerging as a cornerstone for meaningful change.

Me and my colleagues will be presenting on the implementation of Free, Prior, and Informed Consent in Canada as it relates to Natural Resource development. The discussion will focus on the balance between sustainability and economic opportunities.

I know many are writing about how history is repeating itself: Trump/Musk are Nazi/Fascists/Authoritarian Dictators. Sky is blue, we know.

More important than them though is the history & strategies that defeated them and what of those might be used today. Lemme follow the accounts who got ideas.
