We were talking about something random. He said, “you tell them Diva.”and it wasn't even me being sassy in any way shape or form. I said something along the lines of, “I don't consider myself a diva.” and left it at that.

"If what you're doing is legitimate and lawful, why do you need to cover your face?”

I'm not sure why I felt offended, but a guy at work (who is Black) and has an extremely large American flag strapped to his pickup truck called me a "diva" at work. I felt like he was trying to push a stereotype. He didn't say it to me privately; he said it in front of others as well. 🤦🏾‍♀️

In a healthy information environment, this would be front-page news.

I agree! It isn’t a competition and we need to share more life lessons with young girls and women. We need so much more mentoring in our community. Other communities manage to persist trash customs we need to make sure we are sharing as much knowledge and help as possible. Just my opinion. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Find another race. I mean that respectfully. Do realize that men can be trash in any race but it opens you up to more options for someone that will put you first. My husband just knew he loved me down but didn’t know anything about anti-racism but he made it his mission to find out and be an ally.

When people break the law, and their actions are righteous and appropriate, we should applaud them. When people abide by or enforce the law, and their actions are repugnant, we should condemn them. We should never pretend the law is a moral dividing line.
