Most people in this thread are talking about how "incoherent" his answer is.

It's not incoherent. It's obfuscation. He's deliberately avoiding the question. And the interviewer isn't calling him out on it. It's pathetic.

"Sir, you are avoiding my question about your clear double standard".

I hate it. I hate it so much. He didn't answer the question. That's not how interviews work. Call him out for obfuscating. Point out that he's avoiding the actual question. Make him answer the actual question. I hate these interviews so goddamn much.

Those interviewers barely pushed him on his lies. Every time they started getting anywhere, it was "let's move on." Why not take the time to really expose him on at least one thing instead of letting him spew all of his standard talking points?

Seriously, that was pathetic. TIME had an opportunity to accomplish something useful, instead they just gave him another mouthpiece to look powerful for his base by spewing lies and propaganda with impunity.

That interviewer was pathetic. They let that asshole lie with impunity and didn't push him on anything. TIME Magazine had an opportunity to hold his feet to the fire and they squandered it.

And he will never be challenged about this by the press in an interview.

This will surely bring down the price of groceries.
