Me every time Motter's character dialogue includes references to the original series:

He nails the vibe of the series, though, and it's easily believable that this really could be an extension of The Prisoner's world.

I'm digging Motter's depiction of espionage trickery. His aged colours are oddly sumptuous. But halfway into the book, its premise doesn't seem advance any further than "what if we did The Prisoner again, but this time - it's a ✨woman✨?"

Re-reading Dean Motter's The Prisoner sequel, Shattered Visage. Notoriously abrasive Patrick McGoohan apparently wasn't too hostile about it. So it must still hold up - right? Hmm.

We're also keeping the vibes going with work on the second Thunderbirds Comic Anthology, which means extensive words from me about why Thunderbirds in TV Century 21 gets really WEIRD when Alan Fennell supposedly departs to become head honcho of Century 21 Publishing.

It would appear that ya boi is, in fact, *not* driving back and forth between the two hotels. Might work up these muscles by trekking back to the Premier Inn on foot with all the gear I'll likely be acquiring. 😁
