Also, when will occur to anyone at the DfE that sometimes the HT is also the DSL and/or SENDCo , who already manages the school office before 9.00 ? Schools come in all shapes and sizes .

Even if we had the budget to pay for all this staff (we don’t) , we don’t have a big enough space to sit everyone down- lunch is already served in sittings. Presumably we’d have to use classrooms. In which case, when are we meant to prepare for , our actual core business, education?

So are we, just can’t meet growing needs with the resources we’ve got . Amazing staff team working their socks off to provide the very best we can on a shoestring budget. Demands are increasing and budgets diminishing. Some days you just feel like you’re letting everyone down.

Vomiting bug has hit Y3. Trying to talk to Public Health at lunchtime, whilst simultaneously cleaning up sick children and cover dining room duty for unwell staff. If I escape unscathed it’ll be a week three miracle .
