Support So we've been using an Al agent since November to answer leadership questions about metrics. It seemed amazing at first fast answers, detailed explanations, everyone loved it. I just found out it's been hallucinating numbers this entire time. Our VP of sales made territory decisions based on data that didn't exist. Our CFO showed the board a deck with fake insights. The Al was just inventing plausible sounding percentages. I only caught it by accident when someone asked me to double check something. I started digging, and holy shit, it's bad.
lol this is gonna burst so fucking hard

13.02.2026 22:25 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0They imagine the post whatever in the Hunger Games will look not unlike their liberal democracy “before Trump.” Harry Potter and the Order simply has to defeat Voldemort and the ministry of magic can go on continuing with house elf slavery and the legal discrimination against “mudbloods”
13.02.2026 22:25 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I think you see the liberal constantly holding on to revolutions and partisan action in fictional stories only because they are ideologically incapable of reckoning with the violence of such courses of action or, worse yet, that such actions would depart from the existing status quo.

13.02.2026 22:21 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Simply put, I think the economic model that was birthed from the French Revolution was ultimately incompatible with its political project. It became the liberation of capital instead of man.
13.02.2026 15:16 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Like that’s kinda the whole thing about the status quo. It will 100% allow any rights to be negotiable. The perverted western liberalism that crawled out of the corpse of the French Revolution specifically permits and even at times encourages the rise of fascism.
13.02.2026 15:16 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0There’s this idea about the moral progressiveness of the neoliberal west that somehow leads white euro twinks on x the everything app to post memes about gay rights being non-negotiable while being citizens of countries in which they are indeed entirely negotiable.

12.02.2026 20:08 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Idk, I think about spreadsheets a lot and how many of them I’m starting to automate rather than clicking and copying and writing formulae and dragging down. And it’s been a godsend in terms of time at work saved that I and my colleagues can use for something else entirely.
12.02.2026 20:08 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0There’s part of me that thinks the GUI and simplification of the computer was a bit of a mistake. Teaching people programs instead of programming? The computer is supposed to be able to be told how to do our jobs for us. Not to be interacted with as our jobs.

04.02.2026 21:23 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Very very funny. Fork an existing process, which copies it’s ENTIRE address space and state with the exception of the pid returned from the call to fork(), and then make the child process transform using an exec(), which replaces the entirety of the program’s address space with the called program.
