Why would they believe that? Their problem has been that the consensus that racism is bad created a social cost for them. They hd to be careful whom they spoke to; a reputation for racism could be ruinous. Even in my lifetime that wasn’t always true. People worked hard to build that consensus. /3

For us, I can see Wistamade getting 30+ goals between them and champions league again. Question will be if some of our big players follow Isak’s precedent and we’re constantly having to replace our top talent, which eventually only ends one way

Wider questions become louder: where’s progress on the new training ground? The new stadium? Director of football? CEO? Why are we not objecting more forcefully to flagrantly corrupt PSR? If decision making is so slow, how do you end up with series of decisions as bad as Guehi ‘24 and Isak ‘25?

Season killer unless, a la Woltemade, his/Wilson’s replacement is already on the plane to Newcastle and we just don’t know about it yet. Disastrous long term either way.
