It’s my birthday today but had a scare earlier. Was out running and behind me for about a mile, just in my periphery, there was a figure all in black on a bicycle. I thought it was DEATH. But turns out it was an old man taking it v.slowly on his push bike. Most unsettling. AGE😱

It’s good to let it all out sometimes. Can’t imagine what I’ll be like when I see it in person. Embarrassing probably.

This quote is from my WOS review for the 2022/3 Dominion season, and it was describing leading lady Georgina Castle who isn’t even in it this time round. 😂🥴 strange choice
25.09.2025 16:39 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Chomping through a tube of Santa’s secret flavour Pringles and I feel like I am so close to guessing what the flavour is. It’s on the tip of my tongue (literally)…I feel like it’s something I’ve tasted recently. 🤔 I just hope it’s nothing yucky. Hmmmm….

ajhlovestheatre.org/2025/09/19/a...
Visiting the Ibsen museum in Oslo and it’s pretty hilarious that one of his main motivations to write was the portrait of rival playwright August Strindberg staring down at him from his study wall. It’s kind of nice to see that even great artists can be so human at times.
19.09.2025 20:27 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Safe to say that the Norwegian National Theatre version of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC doesn’t look like any other production we’ve seen before - but it’s got some fabulous things in it - more thoughts to follow #sondheim #oslo
18.09.2025 20:43 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Currently at MUNCH in Oslo. Never realised he was a dead ringer for John Lithgow. What a scream.
18.09.2025 09:23 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Trying to get the perfect photo from the roof of the Oslo Opera House and this bleeder was NOT moving 😂
to be fair, it does look like he/she is actually singing in this pic. I bet it’s Wagner
Coward’s Fallen Angels is so seldom done but now we’ve got the Menier Chocolate Factory in London producing it this year then Roundabout NYC reopening the refurbished Haïmes with it early 2026. It’s ALOT of fun.
17.09.2025 11:12 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0That wonderful feeling when you’re boarding a flight, feeling pretty zen, then in the queue behind you a small child starts screeching (not crying, actually screeching and wailing, implacably)…and it’s a pretty small plane…. 🥴 yeah that
17.09.2025 06:09 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Gotta say, I don’t know what the critics that gave SEAGULL: TRUE STORY only 3 stars were watching 😂 - I thought this was electrifying and wholly delightful. Here’s my review.

12.09.2025 17:17 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Final day of EVITA at the Palladium today. Love it or hate it (personally I loved it) this production has done more to raise interest in West End theatre than any other show in years. Hope they get a Broadway run “some kind of coming home in triumph is required” 🇦🇷♥️
06.09.2025 08:51 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0“I hate to seem churlish, ungrateful, I don’t like to moan” ….but only ten tracks on the Palladium Evita cast album?! Only TEN?! It’s like the Original London Cast highlights fiasco all over again…. Can’t we have the whole score?
05.09.2025 09:16 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Cannot think of a better duo to invent Post-its than Laura Bell Bundy and Kara Lindsay. Phenomenal casting for #RomyAndMichelle off-Broadway
04.09.2025 14:47 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Drained & exhilarated after INTER ALIA at the NT. I guess that’s Rosamund Pike with all the Best Actress in a Play awards in the bag then. Like all great actors, she’s also a superb comic, not that there’s anything remotely funny about the territory this play goes to. Stunning.

So glad I got to catch #LauraBenanti #NobodyCares tonight at UnderbellyBoulevard - a tart, wise, hilarious hour of outrageousness, humanity and cracking musicianship- she’s a Broadway star for a reason (and her kids sound AMAZING) - tonight EVERYBODY cared 😍
