...I think I've let my Bluesky presence drop to the point that I wonder why anyone would still follow me. I'll post when I play a fun board game or finish an article, but I've definitely become a lot less active here.

Today's musings: I think part of my silence on social media stems from my desire to live more in the moment. I don't want to grab a phone to share everything as it's happening and then the moment has passed. I also don't really feel the need to be performative online.

What this means is...

Selling a bunch of board games I no longer play at game night tonight, but also having to haul a lot of cardboard when there's a rain forecast.

All but two fit in my board game bag, and the last two still have plastic wrap on them! 🤌

Doing writing work and alternating with playing Street Fighter 6, I have learned, do not mesh.

Yeah, in this one the flashback is more a mechanical justification for taking more gear or cyberware mid-mission. This means you always have what you need, without having to spend an hour ahead of the game trying to plan perfectly.

It has some neat elements, like a flashback mechanic. As someone who owns, but has never played, Blades in the Dark, it's neat to try playing this way.

Tonight I'm finally back at game night, and doing something a little different! We're doing a 1-shot cyberpunk adventure.

The many colored fruit dove has magenta patches on the head, chest, and underside of tail, contrasting gray and creamy white feathers.

Also hot damn are the illustrations still so amazing on these birds! Illustrators here are absolutely on fire!
