The Eastern Queens Democratic Club was founded by a Jewish Man and a Muslim woman. We know that we can all come together and rise above those who seek to divide us.

We need the East Queens Democratic Club because they’re not going to smile for photo ops with fascists. Unlike the wishy washy appeasers current running the show.

There are local Dem Clubs who take pride in posing for photos at every opportunity with bigoted officials who spread fear, hatred and lies. Then there’s us, who choose to fight against their bigotry with the dreams of what can be possible for a brighter NY that works for all.

When you run for office, it's a given that people will spread lies about you — but this morning, Politico made a baseless accusation I take very seriously.

So I wanted to address it directly.
