Was thinking just this today when Arunburu DQ was going to decrease the Schachman GC lead by 2”. It really should be 10”-5”-2”. Such an easy fix to properly align incentives.

They don’t want there to be a vote because they don’t want to be on the record for either defying Trump (which will piss off Trump) or voting to keep the tariffs (which will piss of voters). This is a way to try to hope the problem goes away without them having to be on the record.
