I feel that mocks have some good uses, but we have 100% been bitten by "we mock this call to respond with the response we expect when we make the call with the parameters we believe are correct" only for the real service to reject our call and we should have discovered this much earlier.

I got the "I just don't like it" feeling when reviewing a medium sized change at work. It took me a day or so find my core objection and finally expressed it in a video call rather than pull-request comments. We've ended up with a substantially better patch and a lot better story around testing.

Direct message conversations - things are so much better on platforms on which you can leave a "react" emote. It allows me to positively acknowledge your last message without leaving you a message that you might feel obligated to respond to. This part of our ongoing interaction is complete. ❤

If _some_ trans women are permitted to use the women's facilities then they clearly aren't being provided as a single [as assigned at birth] sex space, so what's the justification (or grounds in law) for excluding other trans women? This makes absolutely no sense to me as a non-lawyer.
