The word WITCHCRAFT is printed in large and groovy red letters below them.
From the Witchcraft Ritual Kit: a fold-out chart showing a magic circle surrounded by various astrological names and symbols.
From the Witchcraft Ritual Kit: Four circular emblems in different colours bearing images related to Beltane, Summer Solstice, All Hallows Eve and Winter Solstice. These may be detached from the sheet of card surrounding them. Also visible are nine cards each of which has a photo of a different implement (or weapon) used in magic rituals.
From the Witchcraft Ritual Kit: a horned goat mask made from card.
From the latest Midian Books mailer: The Avalon Hill Witchcraft Ritual Kit (1974). "A boxed set of materials and guide books for performing witchcraft rituals....seems to be a hybrid of role-play and 'genuine' Wicca. Needless to say extremely scarce."

This fierce folk creation by Amandine Barbet, stands guardian in the dampened marsh, born of the earth's oldest secrets, a beautiful vision of wild, witchy art.

Our father who art in heaven.
Alphonse Mucha, Le Pater, 1899
‘…in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.’
‘There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns.’

"The seventh form is Luna, wherein are contained the qualities of all the six forms. She is, so to say, the corporeal being of the other forms, all of which throw into her their desire by means of Sol. That which Sol (the sun) is spiritually becomes corporeal in Luna (the moon)."

Yes, but I’m not so sure we can pin down the meaning of the Green Man that easily. There’s all manner of weird and wonderful carvings in Medieval and Renaissance buildings. I think the masons were creative and naughty and liked to push the boundaries a bit and were not very bothered about theology

03.12.2025 14:30 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Well I know what you mean, lots of vile folks on X, but there’s still some good accounts and I have lots of nice followers, so at least there’s some interaction. Here things are dead. I really don’t want to invest much time in SM at all, so catering to two accounts seems a waste of time to me.
03.12.2025 14:01 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0This place is really dull, no engagement and apart from the few excellent accounts that I followed here from X, there’s nought going on. It’s a chore posting here. And there’s censorship too; the ‘Victorian maiden aunts’ of BlueSky are more prudish than Queen Victoria herself.
