This has been such a good day of racing

I love the Supercars broadcast for so many reasons but one of the biggest is that they throw so much information at the viewer and never treat the audience like idiots. You learn so much watching them. Who else does live data analysis?!

These onboards are bonkers. Listen to them work the throttle, watch those hands.

got oswego dirt week turned on

it took some vise grips but I finally got the motor out of the housing

had to delete a LED light board that I didn't need

this plastic housing is sus given it's see through on the front

doing crude measurements - looks like it's near 3/4 in / 20 mm magnets. FFbeast site says that might be 9-10nm

Given the rise of the Crown Vic division in the last 4-6 years, it was only gonna be a matter of time before the Dodge LX & LD platforms got the call up by a circle track

Engines more varied now. 600 replaced the FJ w/ FZ/MT-09 for spec option (can still run 1200 open & 1250 sealed), ARC only FJ but opened up rules - can run at 1350cc. It's a cluster

Weight is the same for ARC & 600 (under 1200/1250 rules). MT-09 gets weight break BoP

Different tires/wheels (ofc)

We already got them now (CoTF Gen2 - that being the ZB & the Mustang)

and they are switching to Gen3 in a couple years

been watching DIY direct drive wheel videos for a few months now

Friday was Busch prac/qual in the afternoon & WoO over at the dirt track on 600 week

WoO finally went November only post-COVID (honestly was for the best, given SMI doesn't touch the place 95% of the year)
