I’m so sorry. We’ve had 3 lockdowns in as many weeks over here. It’s not a good feeling.

To counter it seeming like book banning is a thing of 1984 we are doing our display of books that have banned this year. Focusing on LGBT books. I'm making red book marks that we'll put in other books in the stacks that say "this book was banned in 2025 in at least one county in the United States."

I’ve actually been seeing this a lot lately as well as incorrect bibliographic info. Worse from chat got bit also from google ai search results. Patrons are confused. They don’t understand it could be wrong.

I'm am so happy that we do not use AI at all. Although it is not expressly not allowed nobody is using and nobody is interested in using it. We have had one "pro AI" program but it was from an outside group. I too hate AI and I hope it stays this way.
