Pragmatism kills all dreams of an "ideal" and "better" world, and settles for far less than it should.

Ulimately, both parties fail Americans on many different levels. Its just in the details of HOW they fail.

AIPAC has been manipulating American politics for far too long. It isn't a matter of antisemitism. Its a matter of influence. Americans should not be influenced by foreign countries.

Republicans won't abandon him, or his future replacement, no matter what, as long as they continue to get what they want.

And make no mistake, they ARE getting what they want.

Always beware of the man loudly calling himself a "patriot" while also calling to marginalize others and take away their rights.

It starts in my opinion, with abandoning the "reach to the right" that Democrats have been doing for the past... forever.

Right wing voters will never side with Democrats when it matters.

Progressives have been begging Democrats to lean left. It needs to happen.

Of course, but that's not what I'm referring to. I mean political tactics, but even then, what I actually mean is the same level of tactics.

Republicans are fighting a different fight than Democrats are, it seems the Democrats don't understand this.

We don't need empty suits. We need BRAWLERS.

Yet we've seen Democrats do it time and time again. Its pathetic that they keep doing so, hoping for different, when the only change is Republicans getting worse, and demanding worse, and then getting their way because Democrats wont actually fight them with the same tactics.

One very strong criticism of Democrats is usually about not having the votes, not changing Senate rules, and not prioritizing structural reform when they had windows of power.

When Dems had power, they reach across the aisle, to people who were NOT their friends, passing chances to change the rules

The "autopsy" always finds that it wasn't Democrats fault, it was always someone else.

Democrats suck at selling their ideas. Fast food companies spend millions in marketing research to sell you a cheeseburger, but Democrats just expect you to choke down their shit and be grateful it isn't Trumps.

Wrong. Republicans are hard at work enacting their P2025 takeover of America.

The "do-nothing" label belongs to their so-called "opposition" party.

The nickname "Do-nothing Democrats" exists for a reason.

Progressives want this.

So, why do Democrats oppose it so strongly? (Answer: they're cashing in on the broken system.)

Our capitalist healthcare system is purely predatory and yet this is the system both parties want to uphold.

Your parties (both) do not represent your best interests.

Maybe. But when you see events repeat and notice trends, and see a pattern emerge, it isn't something to ignore.

So, I invite you to ask yourself why this pattern exists. Why can Democrats always be counted on to "snatch defeat from the jaws of victory" over and over for 50 years?

You can ALWAYS count on at least a few Democrats to side with the Republicans.

Weird how that always seems to happen, over and over.

Its ALMOST like the entire Democrat party is hard at work creating the ILLUSION of choice, while always giving Republicans what they want... for the last 50 YEARS.

Democrats would rather go after so-called "moderate" Republicans than try to appeal to progressives. This was seen on full display in 2024.

They demand progressive votes but do nothing to win those voters.

Let's do some real critical thinking.

Why do Democrats lose elections? What about them makes them unappealing to many voters?

Especially progressives. Why don't progressives like Democrats? What do Democrats do be unappealing?

Democrats only know performative outrage, and they mainline that shit like heroin for the high that being in front of media cameras and lights gives them.

Let the whole corrupted forest burn to ash and rebuild from the wreckage.

Im wondering how the Democrats kind of outreach to progressives (by reaching out to moderate Republicans) is going to win them elections.

I dunno, if this shit keeps up, and Democrats don't stop pissing on progressives and telling us its raining, we all might just have to sit the next one out.

Imagine how the country would change if a law was passed making lying while speaking as a candidate, or in any official capacity, or any public statement, would make that liar guilty of something like perjury.

Lying in any capacity can do harm, especially in politics, and should be illegal.

The past deserves to be left in the past. These old fucks still hanging on to life continue to try to cling to relevancy and power, while holding on to antiquated beliefs, and they vote. Mostly for Trump.

"But its the only way!" Say Democrats, while we watch other countries like New Zealand using a completely different system that allows for multiple parties.

Republicans are evil, Democrats are fossils, and I'm tired of both.

What's not to like?

This platform allows for the existence of the top 10%, allows for the continuation of dark money in politics, and continues to hold onto free-market capitalism as the status quo.

Fortunately, most of them will be gone in the next 10 years or so.

I can't wait to see what a future without those geriatric numbskulls looks like.
