There's an Oscar-nominated short documentary from 1977 called "Kudzu". I think you can watch it online, like on YouTube. I haven't seen it since college, but I remember it being pretty amusing.

Ooh, I had such mixed feelings about that book. So extremely well written, but stories of such awful people. LOL Maybe I just wasn't in the right mindset. But I'm glad you're enjoying it.

Not really famous, but I loved the way Hollywood tried to make Liberace a leading man in "Sincerely Yours" by giving him two girlfriends, and yet still had him barge in on William Demarest taking a bath.
