I've been thinking a lot about that bumper sticker which says "everything looks like a conspiracy theory when you don't understand how anything works" and folks it's pretty obvious to me that the people in power right now have absolutely no desire to understand how anything works.

Was in my late 20s when my ma told me two IRA men planting a bomb near their home set it off by mistake- my granny went out to cover their body parts with blankets so kids round the estate wouldn't see before cops came

Just told me that 1 day like she was telling me the weather

Jody Gormley was inspirational... he made people proud to be part of the GAA community I was never fortunate enough to meet Jody Gormley, and I’m conscious that writing about him will be seen as performative, but the really, truly special people on this planet can inspire others without...

Jody Gormley's interviews since he announced his terminal diagnosis, will forever be referred to, quoted, and sought after, for those in need of inspiration and perspective ❀️

How GAA referee’s greater power risks making them the bad guy at lower levels The Football Rules Committee has successfully passed their new rules in Gaelic football, and we will see them in action as soon as January 2025.

Referee's new powers could stamp out abuse culture, but it could also villainize them more πŸŸ₯

The Unholylands: A wild, evocative rampage through the heady days of student life in Belfast It is one of Belfast’s most distinctive areas, home to generations of students down the years. And now the Holylands has been immortalised in a fictional film.

"The Unholylands has all the makings to be a cult classic β€” or a culchie classic, whichever way you view it."

^ This might be my most favourite sentence that I've ever written in an article lol. But seriously, this movie is a cracker of nostalgia!

"Mon to f**k big lad!"
"aye, dead on"

This was probably scheduled by his social media team, but it's hard not to think it's a tad suspicious that Conor McGregor posted this video - an hour ago - name-dropping a load of his celeb "friends" whilst promoting this ad.

Is he trying to affirm that they all like him???

I tried to make my Twitter feed like that but kept getting bombarded with violent clips, bizarre tweets and some generally terrible stuff, so hopefully Bluesky comes through πŸ™
