In this illustration i try to put down what memories are. For me it's like the swirling warped world reflected on translucent soap bubbles, so beautiful but fragile... and transcient.

On chapter 10 now, things were building up slowly but I can tell that it's all 160 pages of calm before the storm. Coupled with how I stupidly read the forbidden definitely-not-glossary page, this dread I'm feeling is really killing me and flipping over the next page so heavy 😭

I stupidly read RF Kuang's Babel's last page thingking it was a glossary. It was not and now I'm a mess and utterly devastated 😔

Working on embroideries has been quite a hobby of mine for a few months now. A few stitches later I realize I'm approaching it like I would colored pencil on paper

The "The Sandman" audiobook/audio drama is a masterpiece. I've shown so many people the intro of "A Hope in Hell", and everyone is really impressed by the sound production. The cast is also top notch. Can't recommend it enough.

2023 was filled with rejections left and right, in and out. 2024 would still have a lot of failures and no's in stock for me, I guess, and it's super scary but bring it on ❤️‍🔥

Illustrations about local tradition in Western Sumatra Island called 'Pacu Jawi', or a cow race. Everyone would gather to celebrate rice harvest, with the race held on empty ricefields. The event is filled with music, dances, and well, a lot of mud splashes!
