As the sun sets on a small island a few miles off the coast of North Africa, a huge Arambourgiania arrives from the mainland in search of a new feeding site. In the background, a flock of Tethydraco circle the cliffs.

Photo taken by me in Fuerteventura.

Stegoceras On The Coast.

The background is a photo taken by me on the coast of Llandudno, Wales; with all the ferns, it had such an ancient feel to it, just needed a dinosaur.

If you casually dip your hand into a rock pool in the Silurian, you might get an unexpected manicure.

Trilobites depicted are Calymene blumenbachii (the ‘Dudley Bug’) and Proetus concinnus. Photo taken by me in Fuerteventura.

Thanks for having me BBC Breakfast, to talk dinosaurs and gush about the new Walking With Dinosaurs series!

I watched the original landmark series as a teenager in America. It inspired me to study dinosaurs. To work as a consultant on the new one has been a huge joy and honor!

When I was a kid, I assumed the vultures were around because they knew the queen's actions would get herself killed in the end.

#Iguanodon was formally named 200 years ago today in 1825. The second dinosaur to be named after Megalosaurus, and one of three genera originally used to define Dinosauria.

Happy 200th anniversary to the mighty Iguanodon, one of the first dinosaurs known to science and arguably one of the most iconic. Iguanodon was always my favourite dinosaur as a kid, and even all this time later, it still is now!

Going through an art block since the end of last year but managed to do something involving three things I aesthetically enjoy

✔️snowy grasslands
✔️northern lights
✔️cheetah-adjacent cats

While being very challenging, this composition was a joy to figure out, and not just because of the animals. The verticality of these karst landscapes always fascinated me. #paleoart #sciart
