Zohran Mamdani has repeatedly and quickly turned into a disappointment. See @prisonculture.bsky.social 's thread on the NYC library budget. I don't expect much from electoral politics, and yet they still fail.

Remember the key is the percentage allocated based on the city expense budget. So Mayor Mamdani is ACTUALLY allocating 0.39% of that to public libraries. LESS THAN ADAMS & also MUCH LESS THAN THE 0.5% that he ran on. Remember too that the ACTUAL FY26 budget was $523 million [after budget dance].

It is absolutely outrageous that Moderna’s flu vaccine was met with a “refusal-to-file” even after their approved their protocol with FDA and carried out the trial as agreed. This vaccine works better in older adults than the current flu vaccines.
