Simon, we’ve spoken many times as you well know. Please don’t try and make out to your audience here that I don’t engage with cycling groups as well as basically every other transport campaigning and interest group. It really doesn’t get any of us anywhere good.

Please email me if you have anything to discuss or contribute. I don’t conduct policy discussions on social media as it lends itself to divisive conversations - as you have demonstrated.

I have talked to many people and groups over my four years on the assembly with many differing views on transport. It’s literally my job.

I always remain open to anyone contacting me to let me know what they think, but views are my own and informed by those of the Londoners I represent.

Last week I spoke to Jeremy Kyle about @TfL’s moves to reign in dockless e-bike operators, and the need for new regulation from the Government.

It’s essential that new forms of transport do not obstruct Londoners on pavements or when accessing public transport.

Do Reform care about public transport? I asked @mayoroflondon.bsky.social today.

Despite posturing at #MQT, they have no policies on concessions for older Londoners, public transport affordability or the awful service on private rail.

Reform are not on the side of ordinary Londoners.
