I recently tried making my own quick pickles. So easy and so good! I don't know why it took me so long! I use a few simple ingredients -- apple cider vinegar, cucumber, garlic, and onion/carrot/bell pepper, dill -- and make them in small batches to be used in a week or two. Mmmmmmm!

I like road trips and train rides. Air travel not so much.

I did the Push-up Challenge for Mental Health this past February and I tend to do it again next February.

Been wondering that too, as I saw very little about Palestine so far.

While at blood donation, I saw a group of four young people that had come together to donate -- I was surrounded. I thought it was cute and nice. I always feel good giving blood, and doing so with friends would be even nicer. So... who in the Hamilton area wants to come with me February 3rd?
