Dynamo feels *fine* in comp but holy it’s abysmal in xrank. I’ve played both as and against it and it feels like such a coin flip lmao. No mechanical skill to speak of, and like half the weapons have literally zero counter play into it, with the other half rolling it consistently #compsplatoon

what makes dynamo even more annoying for me is that in x rank it's impossible to queue with dynamos counters without them dittoing it since dynamo is in seperate queues from rapid pro and pencil. So you're just forced to spam any special or play the game slow because it's uncontested #compsplatoon

Gonna share my knowledge after playing with 30+ mid level tryouts

Most players are really good at one playstyle only, special spamming, jumping out, sharking etc. But once that one thing they do stops working it's like they are shut down for the rest of the game #compsplatoon

Haven’t been a fan of a lot of the hitbox changes. Blasters didn’t need up to a 42% increase and a lot of hitboxes just aren’t intuitive in any way, such as wiper vertical being wider than stamper vertical now. A lot of this patch is guessing what the range of stuff is. #compsplatoon

Lowkey just rework short range firing mode. No longer one shots, dmg caps out at 70 like an indirect. Still decent for ledging & finishing off weak opponents who you indirect with long range or who you tag with burst, but fighting is at close range no longer feels rng

It doesn’t need to be a shot velocity change to sblast necessarily but it’s way too consistent at fighting rn without having any real bad MUs. Forcing it to lead it shots, or forcing it to rely on hitting directs over indirects more often would also work. Rn it’s just stamper but aoe
