in my experience the audio delay on obs is not significant, at least nothing you can't fix, even with a cheaper capture card

I don't think the visual delay is salvageable though, so you'd need an hdmi splitter if it's not built into the capture card

oh also they push you into environmental hazards that also, for some reason, do double damage

in hollow knight enemies become more difficult by having more complex movesets that force you to learn their rhythm to dodge and get attacks in

in silksong enemies get harder by doing double damage and becoming damage sponges
