I’ve worked outside Knights games and seen armored vehicles parked in the garage across the park. When they have public events, you can’t spit without hitting a cop. If they don’t have uniforms present, you can bet they’ve got plenty of off-duty cops in plainclothes on hand. They love that shit.

I worked at events in and around Charlotte off and on over twenty years. I can remember one incident where I legitimately felt concerned, and in the time it would have taken me to get a phone to dial 911, a hundred cops were already swarming.
