Just had my author copies of this beautiful book through. Definitely for the dedicated collectors but the art by @alexries.com (cover) and @simonroy.bsky.social (interior) is so beautiful.

I’m currently drawing the conclusion of this story (for next month), and undercutting my own nice flat color approach with a whole end sequence that requires much too much rendering. Gotta cut this masochistic behaviour out!

It’s totally genetic- I’ve been stuck with a flat frog ass my whole life. But Ive known other men with pert, buoyant dumpers who don’t even work out!

I feel exactly this way until I read prose that really blows my mind - when you get some of that real evocative shit that’s gets your cortexes running hot, I personally prefer that to a comic… but I spent my whole life learning to draw so here I am
