Inside the crypt of a powerful karazadi noble. The ossuary niches here are built into a protective idol of a horned marmot, to deter the living and dead from interfering with the remains. Long bones are kept in the niche to the right, and fine bones gathered into a bronze reliquary on the left.

I'm serializing one of my favorite stories from "A Star Called The Sun" over on webtoons, leading up to the book's release. Called "The Anchoress", it concerns a young scribe, a missing robot, and a mountain abbey filled with rowdy nuns...
