I should not feel guilty or scared of retaliation for expressing my discomfort.

And I certainly should not be driven to the point of an anxiety attack because people /noticed my discomfort/.

I'm hoping to get to this point eventually. I enjoy doing custom work, but the time it takes adds up!!

I pulled headshots and micro chibis for a similar reason. I'm grateful for the support, but if all you buy is my cheapest option, I can no longer eat and have triple the workload.

I do have a lot of respect for Carpenter because it seems like she's absolutely leaning into the whole, "don't infantize me because I'm under 5'0" thing (iirc she's either 5'0" or 4'11") and she's been very open about saying "I'm not doing anything new, I'm just doing something you hate."

Taylor is just trying to make money off of Carpenter's success doing bunny girl stuff, but Carpenter is just replicating Madonna but make it vanilla. (imo, I don't think Taylor Swift has had an original thought in years. I do not get the hype around her.)

I have a significant cold right now and everything is absolutely miserable. Be grateful for your ability to breathe through your nose and avoid body aches. I miss it.

End of day 5 at work.

I have done more in 5 days than I have done with animals in my entire professional career in animal welfare.

I am beyond amazed by how my coworkers continuously show up and run this circus with absolute grace. I am so tired. And I've only just begun.

I have been promoted to small dog whisperer. Fear me and my ability to carry a small dog 20 feet.

Coworker: "be careful, she hates everyone"

Me, watching them lean over this 8 lb dog who is maybe as tall as my mid shin: "watch this."

*sits on floor*
*dog immediately stops shaking in fear*
*dog sniffs and decides my lap makes a fine bed*

Bonded with another chihuahua at work. Is this who I am now? The small dog technician?
