This is a BIG problem as without the term #LongCovid

-ppl can't find the supports & information available from charities etc to help them manage their journey & illness

-can't find LC community for emotional support

-can't be counted& included in research

As predicated;.

Ppl no longer test for #Covid ➡️

Ppl develop #LongCovid but don't know that's what it is ➡️

Many of them getting lost in a mess of unnecessary tests, medical gaslighting & inappropriate psychiatric involvement.
If they're 'lucky' will get diagnosis of PVFS..

Opinion: UCP's COVID vaccine cuts put children at serious risk A policy of ending pediatric COVID vaccination will disable, hospitalize and even kill Albertan children, leaving blood on Smith’s hands.

JAMA Pediatrics published a patient info page about Long COVID in children… “Long COVID is common, affecting up to 10 to 20 per cent of children with a history of COVID-19. … this is higher than the number of children with asthma…”

How The SAVE Act Could Impact Married Women And Other Voters Congress is potentially voting this week on a bill that would make it harder for millions of Americans to exercise their right to vote.

The SAVE ACT suppresses the votes of married women. The GOP veils this horrific bill saying it prevents non-citizens from voting. That’s a lie. Non-citizens are already barred from voting.
This bill is intended to strip away a married woman’s rights.

Long COVID in Young Children, School-Aged Children, and Teens This JAMA Pediatrics Patient Page describes the symptoms of long COVID in children.

Long COVID is now the most prevalent chronic disease in American kids, surpassing ASTHMA. Children/ teens are NOT immune to damage from covid.

"Long COVID is common, affecting up to 10% to 20% of children with a history of COVID-19."

That means ANY covid infection.

Study Reveals Symptoms Of Long COVID In Young Kids – Here's What To Look Out For The authors say it’s proof a “one-size-fits-all” approach doesn’t work with this condition.

“3 of the study’s authors write that almost 6 million US children could be affected by long COVID, which is greater than number of kids with asthma”

6 million chronically ill kids

How many will be gaslit? Pushed to play through the pain? Told they’re “fine”?

What a great time to restrict vaccines

Dáil air is filtered while our children continue to get sick at school The ongoing impact of covid infection is very real, but we still haven't managed the simplest mitigation for our children

“A study in Finland found air purifiers in day cares reduced children’s illnesses by 30%”

Clean air in schools & childcare is a no brainer to prevent airborne diseases.. so that children are in school & parents are at work. And it’s the law now in Ireland

I personally have seen the damage that undiagnosed ADHD does do a person's life. And in my experience the diagnostic process was extremely thorough and strict..ie careful.

I have serious concerns over the opinions of this neurologist. Her previous book was pure medical bias

COVID-19 may put patients at risk for other infections for at least 1 year

Important to also remember that getting Covid once a year is common, so this effect may be essentially continuous. Add in the risk of Long Covid with each infection, and it's clear that global population health will inexorably decrease as time passes.
