You can’t reason a person out of a position they didn’t reason themselves into.

I have now spoken with the four known candidates for state chair. I’ve had good conversations with all four and look forward to continuing dialogue on how to rebuild.

One part of this story that I want to highlight: Without data collection from the federal DoE (there's no promise that will be moved into another department), districts may not get penalized for disproportionately punishing disabled students of color more than white disabled students.

Jimmy Carter was a good man who was a model of decency and servitude. Few Presidents have had more impactful post-presidencies, and his works will long outlive him. May he rest in peace.

Today, millions of voters get most of their information about Democrats from Republicans.

I’m not really sure when or why the Media decided that we all have to pretend that every day is the day we were born and that context for our political lives is irrelevant, but that’s what they’ve done. And it allows the gop to set every narrative with no responsibility for anything.

Companies can pay disabled people below minimum wage. The Biden admin wants to change that. A proposal from the Department of Labor recommends the end of certificates that allow a subminimum wage for disabled people.

Companies can pay legally disabled employees less than a dollar an hour through certificates issued by the Department of Labor.

A new proposal is trying to change that.
