Endothelial dysfunction in ME/CFS
The endothelium - a thin layer of cells lining every blood vessel - plays a pivotal role in regulating blood flow, blood clotting, and inflammatory responses. Research suggests that ME/CFS may involve damage to the endothelium leading to endothelial dysfunction (improper functioning of the endothelium).
ME/CFS research says:
significantly impaired endothelial function in both small and large vessels compared to healthy controls
herpesvirus infection, such as Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and HHV-6, could contribute to damage of endothelium

Long-term sick to lose benefits and need to search for work in DWP overhaul Liz Kendall wants to make the biggest change to the welfare system in a decade

This absolutely terrifies me.

I feel like I have to prepare somehow. I've been looking into proofreading & editing courses. Gosh they're expensive. But I feel I have no choice.

Disabled people are terrified right now. We won't survive. And that's their plan!

It doesn't measure sleep but my heart rate activity would reflect that something is definitely going on when I'm dreaming. I've checked it when I've had a night of vivid dreams and it seems to support this.

Oh yes I definitely get this. I have a visible app that shows this (I wear mine overnight). The internal vibrations are much worse upon waking if I'm woken suddenly and it takes a very long time for me to be able to sit up and come round properly.

I feel like setting that kendal woman the personal challenge of finding me an employer who would pay me enough money while accepting a shit quality of work with no deadlines, that doesn't require me leaving my house/interacting with people/reading anything/numbers/noise/physical exertion etc. 😑

This year's summit in Davis was simply amazing. Here is why:

I’m an introvert. I like being alone. I distance myself from time to time for my own personal reasons that have nothing to do with me acting funny or being upset about anything. I need space and peace of mind. People can be overwhelming at times…

It is very difficult and my mental health can be very fragile and is easily affected by others. I'm generally a happy positive person and used to be very driven, but I've had to learn to let go of the 'drive' somewhat. Emotional reactions are a major cause of PEM for me 😬

It’s a pity this article doesn’t discuss more of the reasons why the existing review is flawed such as the almost complete lack of reporting of objective measures as Michiel Tack, I & others highlighted in our formal comments on the review.

I don't have any expectations any more. And that's not me being negative, I'm just quite learned to make a decision every morning about how I feel when I wake up. I'm moderate/severe. If I had any expectations it would cripple my mental health even more so I just go with the flow now.

I need to learn how to do this! Do you smoke, or make teas/add it to food etc? I have gummies but they're so expensive 😬
