I saw someone recently talking about making a cube where all the wishes were available but when you draft one if them you get access to 4 copies and that seemed like an interesting fix but it really needs the whole cube built around it

Personally I have complicated feelings on wish effects in cubes. At 40 card decks you see enough of your deck that wishes dont really increase consistency and often lead to a dynamic where you put cards in your sideboard that should probably be in your main deck.

I appreciate this and I think a big thing I try to do is have my goals solidly defined before I start on a cube. Occasionally I return to my goals and then just comb through card by card and reassess how well they align
