This evening, the FAA formally announced a 10% reduction in air traffic across 40 "high-volume" markets beginning Friday morning, November 7, to maintain safety during the ongoing government shutdown. While specific airports have not yet been identified, the FAA has indicated they will be meeting with airlines tonight to determine implementation details. Given the possibility that LGA may be among the affected airports, we kindly request that each airline share any available information regarding potential enplanement impacts at Terminal B. LGP remains committed to working collaboratively with our airline partners to closely monitor enplanement activity, proactively manage operational impacts, and implement supportive cost-control measures as needed.
